Playgroup to Class 5.

Four stages. Each one matched to the age.

Ages 2 to 3

Playgroup

First time away from home for most kids. Songs, stories, play, and getting used to being around other children.

What children learn

  • Listening and following simple instructions
  • Recognising colours, shapes, and sounds
  • Sharing space with other children

Ages 3 to 5

Nursery & KG

Pre-reading, pre-writing, basic numbers. The age where kids start figuring out class routine.

What children learn

  • Letter and number recognition
  • Simple writing and drawing
  • Counting, sorting, basic maths concepts
  • English and Hindi rhymes and stories

Ages 6 to 7

Class 1 & 2

The reading and writing years. Kids start doing work on their own.

What children learn

  • Reading fluency in English and Hindi
  • Sentence writing and short paragraphs
  • Maths up to two-digit operations
  • Basics of EVS (Environmental Studies) and civic awareness

  3. 03Lunch and free play
  4. 04Activity period (art, music, or sports)
  5. 05Reading time and dispersal

Ages 8 to 10

Class 3 to 5

Stronger academics, harder questions. First class monitors. First graded exams that count.

What children learn

  • Comprehension, composition, and grammar
  • Maths through fractions, decimals, and basic geometry
  • EVS — combining science and social studies, per the latest NCERT framework
  • Computer basics and digital literacy
  • Public speaking, group projects, and leadership through monitor roles

  4. 04Co-curricular: sports, art, music, or computer lab
